Los Angeles County is now offering an opportunity
to expand your business and provide a valuable
service to the community by participating in the
Food Stamp Restaurant Meals Program.
Los Angeles County has a large
population of homeless, disabled, and elderly (age
60 and over) Food Stamp households that are now
able to use their Golden State Advantage (EBT)
cards to purchase meals from participating restaurants
throughout Los Angeles County. EBT cards
work similar to ATM and credit cards.
Your business may benefit from this new Restaurant
Meals Program by increasing your revenue and serving
your community.

Means….
Those restaurants that have entered into a Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) with Los Angeles County and
have been certified by the United States Department
of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service
(FNS). |

certification by the USDA,
FNS to accept food stamp benefits
and receive your FNS number.

ready to receive eligible Restaurant
Meals Participants by using the state issued
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) equipment
at no charge or an EBT integrated commercial
Point-of-Sale (POS) equipment. For more
