ONE-STOP/WORKSOURCE

 

DESCRIPTION

The One-Stop/WorkSource Component is available to participants who have completed JSPC, REP or Fastrak, unless otherwise recommended by the Employment Development Team (EDT). Participants who are returning to GROW after being time-limited off GROW can also be referred to this component based on their Employment Plan (EP).

The One-Stop/WorkSource Component includes the following activities: short-term training programs, employment resources, job referrals, and job retention services.

Participants can be assigned to any of the providers as long as there are slots available.

 

KEY POINTS

  • One-Stop/WorkSource services can be assigned to participants who have completed JSPC, REP or Fastrak, or as otherwise recommended by the Employment Development Team (EDT).  It is also available to those who have completed Vocational Assessment or to participants who are returning to GROW after being time-limited off.
  • Participation is tracked on the GROW computer system.

CASE MANAGER DUTIES

  • Determine if the participant is an eligible One-Stop/WorkSource participant. Only participants who have completed JSPC, REP or Fastrak or who have been recommended to this assignment by the EDT should be referred to the One-Stop/WorkSource Component.

  • Assign participant to One-Stop/WorkSource services by scheduling an appointment with a provider.

  • Explain and have participant sign the ABP 1463. Participant must take form ABP 1463 to the first day of the workshop.

  • Review the basic component requirements, objectives and expectations.

  • Closely monitor attendance.

  • Review the Employment Needs Evaluation screens for any potential barriers to employment and make appropriate supportive services referrals, as needed.

  • Update the One-Stop component on the GROW system.



RESULTS

Upon assignment to One-Stop/WorkSource, the outcomes should be:

  • Ensure the participant is referred to a One-Stop/WorkSource provider.

  • Ensure the participant's employment goals are consistent with the objectives of One-Stop/WorkSource component.

  • Work-related expenses were authorized as appropriate, including transportation.

  • The component assignment screen was completed on the GROW system.

  • Participant and Case Manager signed the ABP 1463.

  • Any requested supportive services referrals were made.
